You know the blueprint by now. Another sports brand, another run club.

But that’s not us.

We don’t want to re-invent or re-create.

Because brands don’t create community. People do. And we know there are so many people out there already connecting and running together and finding their own way of ‘showing up’ in the running community. We’d love to connect with those who champion running as release.

Running is Release isn’t simply a tagline. It’s a conviction, and something we know and feel in our bones: running is so much more than times & distances. (That's why we give £2 from every Essential Tee sold to the Campaign Against Living Miserably.)

Hardcore V02 max sessions, tempo Tuesdays etc. Zero wrong with that. But we want to support and hear from run clubs who also celebrate the experience of running and what it brings to the individual. Those who celebrate camaraderie, are inclusive, and who just ‘get’ that running unlocks something positive within.

Repeat: we DO NOT want to start a run club. We want to start a movement. A coalition of like-minded (and mindful) run clubs.

Is this you?

Are you a club that values mental health as well as physical fitness? One that focuses on connection as well as lap times? And - this one is important (as we’re not here to step on toes) - one that has developed your own culture and way of doing things?

Then we’d love to connect.

Join our movement: The Run Riot Collective

  1. We’re building a network of run clubs across the UK that champion mental wellbeing. Those who apply and fit the criteria will feature on our clubs section of the website and get featured in our socials. Over time, we hope to make this a resource for people looking for clubs that can support them in their area.
  2. As a mark of your Run Riot affiliation, you can apply for free running snoods for your members, as well as access to exclusive member discounts.
  3. All that we ask in return is a commitment from your club to put on at least one run event in your calendar that is explicitly 'powered by Run Riot' and that focuses on the mental wellbeing side of running. Ideally you'd mention the great work that CALM do to, as the more people who know about them, the better. This could easily be the meet up where you give out the snoods, or a regular event - up to you.

If free snoods and member discounts sound good to you, then please email info@runriotwear.com with details about your club, particularly how you support more than times & distances, and we’ll get back to you to chat.
